The HR Talent Consultant 1 is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. Occasional evening/weekend hours as needed by department for hiring events.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
– Partner with various hiring managers and departments to strategically plan and proactively assist with developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need and recruiting the best possible candidates for vacancies; Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation; Consults with colleagues from own network to gain and share best recruitment practices
– Assist managers with the development of customized recruitment efforts (local, regional and national) through the proper discussion and outline of the necessary recommendation of specialized advertisement; Screen applications/resumes through careful evaluation of experience, training, certifications and/or education to asses suitability and ensure the applicant meets the minimum qualifications of the posted vacancy; Interview applicants as needed
– Attend Career Fairs for recruiting and organization recognition; Give presentations at colleges, attends student group meetings and increases college awareness of the organization before and after Career Fairs
